This is a book that I have read about a woman’s journey to bring calm to her life and overcome her intense anxiety and stress. She shares how she does this, mostly through meditation and breathing practises, and also changing her thinking about all aspects of her life, including death. I enjoyed this book and even though it wasn’t directly related to stress, it was interesting to get a perspective on the different ways that you can bring calm into your life and the internal battles that people go through everyday, that we aren’t aware of. These photos are of me reading the last few chapters of the book at the beach, which I found really calming and relaxing, a great way to escape for a while!
