‘Alive Inside’ documentary clip

An excerpt from the documentary ‘Alive Inside’, showing how Alzheimer’s patient Henry changes as he listens to music from his earlier years.

I found this video amazing as it shows how music can be used as a therapeutic tool and bring out the character and emotions of someone who is usually void of any emotion because of his disease. It shows how even Alzheimer’s patients who have very little or no memory can remember things from their earlier years, this is triggered by a familiar song.
